Since the debut release of «Animal de Galaxia» in 2015, HDOD hasn't released a full length album until now.

Even though «Nada que te frene» came out in 2019 as a compilation, plus "Vibra Consonante" EP and 7 more singles have been put out ever since , the work for an album gets to show a more detailed picture of the artist's sonic landscaping.

"...by reading what's in-between lines in «Godspeed you apple of my tree» one can listen to the process of how I was adapting to the art resulting from my tools, I believe.
I've worked in a way that I always thought I lacked the tools needed to make the music I wanted to hear in my head. I tended to end up dissecting the work into parts to be manipulated and improved other than seeing it as a whole. And that was, for the most part, my motivation to keep on working on new music: the never-ending path of the insatiable, I felt.
One fine day I realised that what was coming from the speakers was actually me, a reflection, and the workstation serving just as a mirror".

«Godspeed you apple of my tree» was written 2023-2024 and Produced at SM Studios in Oslo.
